Welcome to class today home property inspections! Whether your a home buyer or a home seller make it a point to be present at the property inspection.

I know this goes against the grain of some agents and possibly some home inspectors, yet some of the most valuable time spent during the process of home buyer or selling is showing up and being present during the property inspection.

As a home home seller just be prepared, it’s not for the squeamish! Be prepared for the inspector to check the functionality of your home along with inspecting the accessible nooks and crannies.

If you’re the home buyer, without a doubt you will have a better understanding of the condition of the home by being present that just reading a written report after the fact.

Oh one more thing, some agents may refer/recommend an inspector, but the choice is yours, remember it’s up to YOU to make the selection! At my office, Preferred Home Brokers we have sample reports on file for homes for a buyer’s review. Again, remember the choice is yours!
