I know this goes against the grain of some agents and possibly some home inspectors, yet some of the most valuable time spent during the process of home buyer or selling is showing up and being present during the property inspection.
As a home home seller just be prepared, it’s not for the squeamish! Be prepared for the inspector to check the functionality of your home along with inspecting the accessible nooks and crannies.
If you’re the home buyer, without a doubt you will have a better understanding of the condition of the home by being present that just reading a written report after the fact.
